Overall
Impression: Funny, good moves and really entertaining
Hesitation:
Plot is paper thin, seriously.
Applauding:
Nice moves, more twerky and simulation than that big finger
The Longer Version:
Ok, I
walked in with no real expectations of anything but hot bodies and grinding
action. I was not disappointed. Well, on the upside there wasn’t an attempt to
disguise the nature of the movie. The little jokes on the new age spirituality in
the form of Ken was pretty funny. And
the rather impossible combination of buff male entertainer and Backstreet Boys
fan was campily brought to life in the store girl scene. For one, I will never
listen to that Backstreet Boy song without cracking up! Plus the male brudderhood
bonding/support outside the store front was a straight sendup of the original
Backstreet video LOL.
The
diversion to the subscription-based entertainment club was a bit of a drag
though the action was passable. As was the cougar party.
Overall,
fun grind run, lots of eye candy. High on the unintended and cheesy humour. Overextended
music video feel.
Fave
Scenes: the workshop scene (now now ladies, we know that men don’t fantasise
about sex all the time ~crude snort~ ), impressing the store assistant/cashier
(who knows, Backstreet Boys might come back ~ok, I really prefer the film crew
dancing, I’m a realist~) and the stripper convention dances!
Fave Lines:
A toss up between glass shoes and there are 3000 other women even if you’re not
in the boy phase!
